Yesterday we had lunch with my husband’s side of the family at Tablo Kitchen x Cafe to celebrate his and his aunt’s birthdays. It really meant a lot to us that everyone made time to attend the family gathering, we know how busy everybody is and it’s sometimes hard to find a time when we’re all available to sit down and just enjoy each other’s company. We appreciate even more that they came over to our neck of the woods. It’s not often that we invite people here because we often feel that it’s easier for us to leave the south than to convince people to come visit us here.

We were originally planning to go to a different spot in the north, but because of the typhoon we just decided to relocate closer to us. After much deliberation, my husband and I picked Tablo in BF Homes because we already know that the food and service is good. I think that Tablo is one of those restaurants that truly embody the spirit of the south. There’s much love in every plate. The food is good and the portion is really sufficient for sharing. The service is also warm, thoughtful, and efficient. We wanted for absolutely nothing during our meal and we felt that we were well taken care of. Tablo should be very proud of their team.

Today (since I’m on holiday), my husband and I took the time to go on a lunch date and we (not surprisingly) went back to Tablo and have a great meal before we headed out to complete our errands. The food and service has always been consistently great here, it’s not a surprise that they’re always busy. ☺️
